An Intelligence Issue

"Budget constraints are forcing some FBI agents to operate without e-mail accounts, according to the agency's top official in New York." -- Source

Wasn't intelligence a serious issue with (the lack of) prevention for 9/11? So, wouldn't it be intelligent to support intelligence? And by support, I mean allow them to communicate more efficiently. Maybe we should invent some sort of agency that can help us with our intelligence....

Speaking of proper intel, where's mine on this "ginger"? ;-)

Oh, and I'm playing Edmund in King Lear later this year (around Oct).

Good heavens, we live in the information age, and due to "Budget constraints", we can't get communication between our intelligence services. Somebody cut a job or take a pay cut so we can protect some national security. I swear, congress people make how much money? Ever heard of them voting to take a pay cut? Stupid.

Sweet Jesus, Ryan! Will your whacked-out, left-leaning, America-hating conspiracy theories never stop??? Your source is CNN! The most anti-American, liberal propaganda merchant west of the Jordan (or east of it... whichever you prefer). I spent all day scouring the FOXNews website for this story, and - Lo and Behold! - nowhere to be found! Obviously this is just some trype pushed to the national attention by Michael Moore or Cindy Sheehan. Unless the story turns out to be true... then I'm sure it's all a part of Bush's plan to help connect the dots.

Man, I enjoy this blog. First Matt, you nailed it! That's exactly what I was going to say. Even down to the part about FOX News, they always are right and CNN is always wrong. I ditto everything you said, except I would have spelled "trype" with an "i" making it tripe, but that's all I would have changed... Bush is going to save us all! and anything that says otherwise is just a lie... lie, lie, LIE!!!!!

Second, I think that another "some sort of agency" is exactly what we need. I say when in doubt, make another committee, to study the possibility of putting more money into the budget, so that we can develop a plan to ensure the proper placement of the right person/people (hopefully all liberal) to finally figure out what is wrong with this country and/or its intelligence. I say sign me up and take another dollar of mine with the constitutional income tax so we can throw some more money at this government, which in my opinion is far too small as it is!
